Signing Season Begins

A busy morning around the old writing shack. I'm just putting the wraps on Episode 3 of the Everyone's Gone to the Moon podcast. It drops Monday morning on BuzzSprout and on your favorite podcast site. You can also hear it, read and see additional resources pertaining to the episode, and hear past episodes on my podcast page

The weather forecast for tomorrow (12/2) isn't looking too good in Mobile, AL, where I am set to do my first signing of "Everyone's Gone to the Moon," but what better way to spend a rainy day then at a book conference? I hope to see you tomorrow from 10am to 4pm at LitCon at Bishop State Community College in Mobile.

In case you can't make it to LitCon tomorrow, I'll also be signing copies of Everyone's Gone to the Moon at Page and Palette, 32 S. Section St., Fairhope, AL, next Saturday, Dec 9th, from 1 to 3pm.

Have a great weekend!

Everyone's Gone to the Moon Podcast Episode 2

I'm pleased to announce that episode 2 of the companion podcast to Everyone's Gone to the Moon has posted. You can listen / download the episode (and episode 1) from BuzzSprout or your favorite podcast host.

In this episode, I will continue my look back at the memorable and obscure news and pop culture stories of July 1969 and the preparations for the launch of Apollo 11. This week, I focus on protests that were erupting in cities around the world, and they were not all anti-war protests.

Additional resources including clips aired during this episode may be found on my website. Episode 3 will debut December 4, 2023.

Book Q&A Question 1

I've been getting a few questions about the new book, "Everyone's Gone to the Moon: July 1969, Life on Earth, and the Epic Voyage of Apollo 11", so I thought it would be a good idea to do a few Q&A sessions. There I go thinking again. My Mom would always tell me that. "There you go thinking again." Anyway, question 1. More to comes.
